MBT utilizes selected fungal cultures from its extensive fungal culture collection to meet client’s project’s goals and peculiarities of substrate or project site. Stock cultures can contain one or several aggressive wood-degrading fungi, especially white rot fungi (WRF). MBT uses both model (Phanerochaete spp.) and non-model organisms (WRF).
All materials provided to client are accompanied with certification of their identity (cultural traits and DNA sequence ID).
