Mycorrhiza Biotech, working in collaboration with  Dr. Omon Isikhuemhen (Mushroom Biology and Fungal Biotechnology) and Dr. Marihelen Glass (Plant biotechnology) at the North Carolina A&T State University just received $100,000.00 grant to work on a project titled: Biotechnology enhanced propagation of gourmet truffles on pine and pecan trees.

It is expected that this project will put Mycorrhiza Biotech in a position to sell truffle inocualted pecan and pine seedlings to farmers who want to venture into co-croping truffles with pecans and loblolly pines.
